Web CEO is consistently ranked as the of best SEO product suites available. But here we are going to ignore the many utility programs that it contains and focus on it's link management capabilities. Do they hold up to the more dedicated products on the market?

Competitor research
Web CEO's Link Popularity Analyzer steps up the the mark here. The reports can be run on your own or competitor websites to uncover the number of inbound links and who they're coming from. The reports don't categorize potential partners in as much detail aa LinkAssistant or Link Builder but they are valuable.

Identify link partners
What the Link Popularity module lacks in helping to identify link partners is more than made up for by the Link Partner Finder module. Potential partners are found via your keywords and your competitor websites and are fully ranked by page Rank, traffic and more.

Email management
The Link Partner Finder module auto-discovers contact details and forms for each potential link partner. You can send automated bulk emails or custom write each one - giving a level of control depending on your preferences and the importance of the link in question.

Reciprocal link management
While Web CEO doesn't build reciprocal link pages or add links to your regular web pages, it does provide a reciprocal link scanner. You tell it what terms you have agreed with the partner and it will ensure that they are abiding by those rules.

Link submission
Web CEO has a dedicated submission module that can submit to search engines, directories and article repositories. The process is semi-automated, but I still found it very time consuming to create each account and submit. If you are looking for automation, perhaps consider a totally automated link builder

Help and support
Web CEO support is excellent. The team are highly responsive and offer a good array of support channels.

Overall Web CEO makes a good link management tool. If you're very serious about your campaigns you should look at a dedicated tool, but for the amateur and casual user Web CEO is perfect.
