Hyper Wiper is actually one of my favourite memory eraser titles. It isn't a file eraser, but rather a tool to clean up your online history - so is useful for those looking to stop prying eyes for seeing what they've been doing online. It offers some neat features, such as the ability to leave a dummy browsing history so that it doesn't appear that the machine has been freshly wiped.

So what does it offer. Here's the full list:

• Keep sites - Leave sites that shouldn't be removed from Internet Explorer's history and drop down URL list.


• Keep cookies - Leave important login information intact.


• Populate "Recent Document" - Choose which files should populate the "Recent Documents" list, even if you haven't opened them recently.


• Populate recent media - Lists fake files in Windows Media Player history.


• Delete cookies.


• Delete typed URLs.


• Delete temporary internet files.


• Delete recent document list.


• Delete Media Player history.


• Delete temp files.


• Delete Internet Explorer history.


• Empty the recycle bin.


• Delete Run/Search history.

It's worth repeating that this product isn't a file eraser - i.e. it doesn't trash files like Privacy Toolbox, but it does completely remove file activity and is an excellent choice for that purpose.
